Every year, between July and September, is held in Sciacca the so-called “Azzurro Food Fest“. The first italian festival that celebrates Sicilian cuisine, bluefish as well as sea and environment’s protection.
A festival full of events, now in its ninth year and it hosts starred chefs, food bloggers, street food masters, singers and artists each year. Among the events: cooking show, tastings, talk shows and interviews, all accompanied by music and live performances.
This Festival is held in the historic centre of this town that owns the second largest fishing fleet on the island and it is a world leader in the seafood trade.
It’s an event that celebretes the delicacies and goodies of Sicilian cuisine, it is an unimissable opportunity for the lovers of good kitchen, for those who love to discover new flavors and learn about the history behind them.
